Your realtor can also hire a home inspector to come out and look at the place. The inspector will check things, such as stucco issues, drainage problems, electrical wiring and the condition of the roof. All of these inspections help determine if your home is safe to live in or not.

For the last several years, I've used a property management firm to help with my rental properties.
